Godard’s Charlotte and Veronique

Charlotte & Veronique represents one of Godard’s earliest ventures into filmmaking.  He was still a critic at Cahiers du Cinema when he made this film from a script by Eric Rohmer.  In it, one sees the beginnings of the style, which would define Godard’s early feature films Breathless and Contempt.
